Les DUDAIM sont deux garçons. Ce sont depuis près de dix ans les plus grandes vedettes israéliennes. Ils s'appellent Benny AMDURSKY et Israël GOURION.
Benny AMDURSKY est un ancien pionnier né dans un kibboutz, il chantait pour ses compagnons de travail. Il rencontra à Tel-Aviv Israël GOURION qui, lui, était comédien et ensemble ils montèrent les DUDAIM.
Israël GOURION a travaillé pendant longtemps avec le mime Marceau à Paris. Ils vinrent en France il y a quelques années et obtinrent un certain succès. Rentrés en Israël, ils formèrent un groupe qui s'appela "LES YARKON". Il s'agissait des DUDAIM auxquels s'était adjoint un troisième chanteur guitariste.
Ils firent le tour du monde avec le music-hall d'Israël et rentrés chez eux, reformèrent les DUDAIM.
Ils ont commencé par faire connaître le folklore israélien à travers le monde. Aujourd'hui, ils ont décidé de moderniser leurs chansons.
Il est intéressant d'écouter ce groupe qui a su mettre au goût du jour les chansons de leur pays.
The DUDAIM are two boys. They have been Israel's biggest stars for nearly ten years. They are called Benny AMDURSKY and Israel GOURION.
Benny AMDURSKY is a former pioneer born in a kibbutz, he sang for his fellow workers. He met Israel GOURION in Tel Aviv, who was an actor and together they mounted the DUDAIM.
Israel GOURION worked for a long time with the mime Marceau in Paris. They came to France a few years ago and obtained a certain success. Returning to Israel, they formed a group called "THE YARKON". These were the DUDAIM with the addition of a third guitarist singer.
They went around the world with the music-hall of Israel and returned home, reformed the DUDAIM.
