Liverpool Lou
Liverpool has the largest population of any of our Irish cities. By sheer chance the place happens to be in Britain and many Irishmen believe, as I do, that some cute English cartographer shifted it there on some typically misty evening. It doesn't worry us however for since Paddy O'Kane chopped off his brother Able's head no Irishman has ever left the fold. John Lennon, Richard Starkey, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Gerry Marsden on the Mersey and Billie Holliday or Bobby Kennedy in the States can never but be Irish. Liverpool Lou is, I guess, another Irish emigrant song.

Summer is A Coming
Most of the summers I have endured were made by two lone swallows and that's why I like to sing of better ones for the future.

Love is Teasing
And can be most frustrating.

Master McGrath
It's very hard to beat the English at most things because they're always so well mannered in defeat. They forgive very easily and you really cannot take exception to people when they say "I'm very sorry I caused you such annoyance as to make you break my head". One of the times we couldn't resist the temptation to be victorious over the English was when Master McGrath beat Rose Of England for the Waterloo Riband of greyhound racing in 1869. Another time was when Arkle defeated Millhouse at Cheltenham.
